Illura - Fairy of the Moon and Stars

Illura is based on an older painting from 2005. I had always liked the character design and colors, but felt the pose drawn was awkward. I decided to paint a new version of her last winter. I turned the former art nouveau border into a theatre stage.

The new one is beautiful, but the older version strikes me as a good seasonal companion piece. :) Night Sky at Winter, this one strikes me as Midsummer's Eve. I know you've already completed the set, but I wanted to share the notion. ^_^
