I would be interested to know what materials you used, paper and pens etc.
The effect of the white against the paper you used makes all the difference and brings out highlights that make your drawing just beautifully rendered.
The paper is Mi-teintes paper made for drawing with pastels.
Usually I use waterproof black ink and a very small pen nib. The white is acrylic ink used with the same pen (although there's a few spots with white watercolor pencil too).
